hehe, so Tommy has mastered many distinct and highly sophisticated ways to block the path to your door. lol. He looks a really smart dog now...! And he likes the attention :) It shows how much care and love the fella gets.
Keep it up, both of you!
And thanks for making my day :))

uma,
attention???he hogs attention from all the ppl from my paternal(dur dur ka rishta) family and colony!!
as if he is the superstar ala-Shahaarukh khaaannn !!

I can tell, I can tell! lol.
You know jaggu...to feel this excited about the little things like your moments with tommy...that is the true meaning and the true essence of life. We should keep the child in us alive and pets are meant for that.

yes uma,i agree with u :)

now i m finding it difficult to move out bcoz i m constantly (harassed) reminded by tommy...like i have taking for a walk and nature calls, prepare his food and make him eat it,make him sleep,etc....

i cant remember wat movie(tats 5 months back)i saw,when he came...anyways....having a pet is alternate to fulltime parenthood..i m loving it...

he brings the best "naughty" child from me...since i was introvert in childhood.. i used to run away and hide under the bed, if any of my uncles came visiting my ....LOL..

niftyxl said...

oops..its,.. if any of my uncles came visiting my my house, after they have gone,i wud ask mum the gifts(mainly toy cars) they brought for me...ROFL...

ohh...that sounds tough. When my sister adopted the dog, I took him out in the mornings, my dad took him out in the afternoon and evenings again me and my dad alternately. And food was of course my sister's responsibility....so were the visits to the vet and the shopping for doggy supplies...my sister used to take charge of that.
Guess it's not always easy...although the rewards are well worth it. As my favourite author Scott Peck says, we grow by creating challenges for ourselves...and opening ourselves to the experience of love and the demands and responsibilities it brings.
It was sad for us that that dog was bad tempered...because although I could never make a commitment to take morning walks for my own health, I could do that easily for that dog. I enjoyed having an energetic walking companion! But the way it used to growl at me and always be trying to slip out of the belt n leash...it wasn't easy. Also if a stray came up, even if the stray wasn't aggressive our dog used to get really fired up...and even growl at me to be allowed to go.
I dunno if we will keep a dog again. I'm trying to get married otherwise I would have....

As for being introverted...most literature on psychology makes it out as if it is a bad thing. But I don't think introverts are repressed or had repressed childhoods...not really. I was and still am introverted (but not shy)...I grew up and experienced life differently from an extrovert but I don't think I missed any part of growing up. Others are a lot more insecure I feel.

uma,
funny part of psychology is it depends person to person...

see me..i was very introvert and shy in my childhood...slowly..i learnt life very hard way...experienced tat life does not give u so easily unless fight and take it back...now i m complety ulta of my childhood..extrovert...i mingle with my people...its hard for me to remember there names...so i just ask them what(topic) was it!!

introvert means lack of socialization in my opnion rather than insecurity..now..i m quite friendly with all my uncles..just like tommy is now with them...

Uma said...

actually genius....true introversion is the inability to form deep relationships. In short an introvert is able to 'mingle' but might have problems with committed love. I thought I did have problems of that nature...I didn't have close friends although I had no problems keeping in touch with lots of people. But then I saw others around me having similar trouble with being close, committed etc...so I felt ok.
I have definitely worked on it.
